Create user-defined subclients to organize NFS exports into separate backup configurations.
Considerations
-
Each subclient protects NFS exports on one NFS interface. To protect exports on another interface, create a separate subclient.
-
A subclient can't contain exports from multiple NFS interfaces.
-
You can't use the root of the file system (/) as backup content. Select one or more NFS exports instead.
-
Duplicate backup content isn't supported within the same backup set. However, the same NFS export can be protected in different backup sets.
-
Wildcard backup content isn't supported.
Procedure
-
From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
-
Go to the Files tab, and then click the Pure Storage FlashArray File server.
-
Under Protocols, click NFS.
-
On the Subclients tab, on the right of the page, click Add subclient.
-
In the Name box, enter a display name for the subclient.
-
From the Backup sets list, select the backup set.
-
Click Next.
-
Select the backup plan to associate with the subclient.
-
Click Next.
-
Specify the content to be backed up by the subclient.
