You can add a NAS Dell EMC Isilon/PowerScale server for backups of NFS exports.
Before You Begin

NFS shares require the following privileges to run Changelist backups.

Read-only
Job Engine
Read/write

Verify that your access node meets the software and hardware specifications to back up the CIFS shares and NFS exports.
Start the Configuration Wizard

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.
The file servers Overview page appears.

On the Files tab, in the upper-right area of the page, click Add server.
The Configure File Server page appears.

Select NAS.
-
Click Next.
The Server Configuration page of the Add NAS Server configuration wizard appears.

In the Name box, enter a name for the NAS server.

From the Vendor type list, select Dell EMC Isilon.

In the Dell EMC Isilon cluster box, enter the external IP address or the host name of any node in the Isilon cluster.

From the Credential list, select existing credentials or create new credentials.
Steps to add new credentials
To add credentials to the Credential Manager, click the plus button (+), and then specify the following in the Add Credential dialog box.

In the Credential name box, enter the name of the credential.

In the User account box, enter the name of the user account.

In the Password box, enter the password.

In the Description box, you can enter a description of the credentials.

Click Save.

Click Next.
The Plan page of the configuration wizard appears.

From the Plan list, select an existing backup plan or create a new backup plan.
Steps to create a new backup plan

Click the add button

In the Plan name field, enter a name for the backup plan.

From the Storage list, select the storage location for the backups.

Configure the backup plan retention and schedule by choosing one of the following options:
Use pre-defined settings
- Under Retention, select Standard retention to retain backups for 1 month.
Create custom settings

Enable the Custom plan toggle.

For Retention, specify how long to keep backups (example: 30 days, 1 year).

For Backups run every, specify how frequently to run backups (example: daily, weekly).

Click Done.
The backup plan is created and appears in the backup plan list.

Click Next.
The Backup Content page of the configuration wizard appears.

Under Network share configuration, move the NFS toggle key to the right.

To specify the access nodes to use for the file server, from the Access Nodes list, select the access nodes.

By default, only those access nodes with both File System and MediaAgent packages installed are displayed.

If a client group is selected as an access node, ensure that each client in the group has connectivity to the array.

By default, all NFS exports will be selected for backup. To change the content that is to be backed up, do the following:

Under Backup content, move the All NFS exports toggle to the left, and then specify the content to back up.

In the Content area, click Add, and then choose one of the following methods:

Browse: Select items from the file system.

Custom path: Enter one or more paths manually.

In the Exclusions area, click Add, and then use Browse or Custom path to specify items to exclude.

To create exceptions, enable Define exceptions, click Add, and then use Browse or Custom path to specify items to exempt from the exclusions.

Click Browse.

Enter the Interface path.

Select an access node, and then click Browse.

Select the required items, and then click Save.

Enter a path or filter pattern in the Enter custom path field.

Click the add button.

From the Include global exclusions list, select one of the following:
-
Off: Applies only subclient exclusions. This option overrides the Use Global Filters on All Subclients setting.

On: Applies both global filters and subclient exclusions. This option overrides the Use Global Filters on All Subclients setting.

Use cell level policy: Applies global filters only if Use Global Filters on All Subclients is enabled in Global Filters.

To verify the connection between the array and access node, click Test connection.

Click Add.
