Enable snapshot backups for the Pure Storage FlashArray NFS subclient.
Note
Install the Windows or Linux File System package on the backup access node before you configure snapshot backups.
Procedure

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

Go to the Files tab, and then click the file server.

Go to the Protocols tile, and then click NFS.

On the Subclients tab, click a subclient.

Go to the Configuration tab.

On the Snapshot management tile, enable the Enable snap backup toggle.

From the Engines list, select Pure Storage FlashArray Files Snap.

Click Save.
Validation
Verify configuration

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

On the Files tab, verify that the Pure Storage FlashArray file server is listed and associated with the backup plan.

Verify that the associated Pure Storage FlashArray appears on the file server Overview page.

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.

Click Arrays.
-
On the Arrays page, verify that the Pure Storage FlashArray is listed.
Run a snapshot backup
Run a backup of the user-defined subclient to create the first snapshot. See Back up Pure Storage FlashArray File NFS data.
Confirm backup success

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Monitor > Jobs.

Locate the backup job for the FlashArray file server and confirm that the job status is Completed.
Test a restore
Restore files from the snapshot to confirm the backup is recoverable. See Restore Pure Storage FlashArray File NFS data.
