Review the limitations and considerationsfor Pure Storage FlashArray NFS exports.

Verify that your access nodes meet the software and hardware specifications to back up the NFS exports.

Install the File System package on the backup access node.
The File System package enables the access node to browse NFS exports and perform backup and restore operations.
To perform snapshot backups, install the MediaAgent package.

Obtain the API token for Pure Storage FlashArray.
Steps to obtain the API Token
Obtain the API token for a Pure Storage FlashArray before you onboard the array or create array credentials. Use the API token as the password when creating the credentials in Commvault.

Use your preferred SSH client to connect to the Pure Storage FlashArray by using the management interface IP address and your Pure Storage user account.

Run the following command to list the API tokens for the current user.
pureadmin list --api-token --expose -
Locate the API token for the current user.

Copy the complete API token.

Use the API token as the password when you create credentials for Pure Storage FlashArray File in Commvault.

Configure a NAS client for Pure Storage FlashArray File NFS exports.

Create a user-defined NFS subclient for Pure Storage FlashArray File.

Enable snapshot backups for the Pure Storage FlashArray File NFS subclient.
