With scaling configurations for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, Commvault dynamically creates and deletes access nodes based on the location and the level of demand. So you don't have to manually provision permanent access nodes for each region or add access nodes when demand spikes.
Prerequisites
-
For each AWS account, Azure subscription, and Google Cloud project where you want to create a scaling configuration, you must have a Linux access node that functions as the scale manager.
-
Provision the scale manager node with at least 2 vCPUs and 8 GB of RAM.
Workloads that support Auto-scaling
The following workloads support auto-scaling of access nodes.
