Modify settings for a HubSpot instance

After you add a HubSpot configuration, you can modify its settings to change the backup plan, exclude the instance from SLA, configure a new subclient, or deconfigure the instance.

Go to the HubSpot configuration

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to ProtectSaaS Applications.
  2. Click the HubSpot instance that you want to modify.

Configure instance-specific settings

These settings are used in specific scenarios and aren't required for most environments.

Portal ID

The numeric HubSpot portal ID (for example, 12345678). This identifies which HubSpot account is protected by this configuration. To change the portal ID, you must deconfigure the existing instance and create a new one.

Access Token

The HubSpot service key (starts with pat-na1- or pat-eu1-). If the token is revoked in HubSpot, you must generate a new token and update this field.

To update the service key:

  1. In HubSpot, navigate to DevelopmentKeysService Keys.
  2. Delete the old service key and create a new one with the same scopes.
  3. Copy the new access token.
  4. In the Commvault Command Center, update the Access Token field with the new token.

Backup plan

The backup plan assigned to this HubSpot instance. To change the backup plan, select a different plan from the dropdown. The new plan takes effect for the next scheduled backup.

Exclude from SLA calculations

Select this option to exclude this HubSpot instance from SLA reporting. Use this for test or sandbox HubSpot portals that do not require SLA compliance.

Subclients

To configure subclients for this HubSpot instance, see Modify settings for a HubSpot subclient.

Deconfigure

To remove this HubSpot instance from Commvault protection, click Deconfigure. This removes the backup configuration but does not delete existing backup data.

Save changes

  1. Review your changes.
  2. Click Save.

Changes to the credential (portal ID or access token) take effect immediately. Changes to the backup plan take effect for the next scheduled backup.
