After you add a ServiceNow configuration, you can modify its settings to change the backup plan, exclude the instance from SLA, configure a new subclient, or deconfigure the instance.
Go to the ServiceNow configuration

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > SaaS applications.

Click the ServiceNow instance that you want to modify.
Configure instance-specific settings
These settings are used in specific scenarios and aren't required for most environments.
Credentials
Update the ServiceNow connection details if the instance URL, username, or password changes:

Instance URL — Your ServiceNow instance URL (for example,
https://dev12345.service-now.com) -
Username — ServiceNow account username

Password — ServiceNow account password
Backup plan
Change the backup plan assigned to this ServiceNow instance:

In the Plan section, click Edit.

Select a different backup plan from the list.

Click Save.
Changing the backup plan affects all subclients under this instance unless the subclient has its own plan override.
Exclude from SLA calculations
Exclude this ServiceNow instance from SLA reporting:

In the Settings section, select Exclude application from SLA calculations.

Click Save.
This setting prevents backup jobs for this instance from affecting overall SLA metrics.
Subclients
View and manage subclients for this ServiceNow instance:

Click the Subclients tab.

To create a new subclient, click Add.

To modify an existing subclient, click the subclient name.

Deconfigure
Remove the ServiceNow instance configuration from Commvault:

Click the action button
, and then click Deconfigure. -
Confirm the deconfiguration.
Deconfiguring the instance removes the backup configuration but does not delete backed-up data. Backup data remains available for restore according to the retention policy.
Save changes
-
Review your changes.
-
Click Save.
Changes take effect immediately for new backup jobs. In-progress jobs complete using the previous settings.
