Restore Atlassian Confluence data

Use these steps to restore entire spaces or granular content to Atlassian Confluence.

Restore procedures

Steps

  1. Navigate to Protect > DevOps.

  2. Click the DevOps tab.

  3. On the Atlassian Confluence tab, click the Confluence app.

  4. In the lower-right, click Restore.

  5. Select the content to restore, and then click Restore.

  6. From the Confluence settings list, select the component to restore.

  7. Optional: To overwrite existing attachments during the restore, move the Override attachments if already exists toggle to the right.

  8. Optional: To restore all parent and dependent content along with the selected items, move the Restore all parent/dependent content toggle to the right.

    This option is displayed only when you select content at the page level. If a hierarchy contains unsupported content (e.g., whiteboards), all the child items below the unsupported content are restored as flat items at the space level.

  9. Only for Software: For No of streams, enter the number of streams to use for the restore.

  10. Click Submit.

Steps

  6. Click the Out of place tab.

  7. Enter the following information:

  8. Destination app: Select the destination app for the restore.

  9. From the Confluence settings list, select the component to restore.

  10. Optional: To overwrite existing attachments during the restore, move the Override attachments if already exists toggle to the right.

  11. Optional: To restore all parent and dependent content along with the selected items, move the Restore all parent/dependent content toggle to the right.
