Configuring Password Aging for Company Users

Updated

You can use the Password Aging feature to configure the number of days for which the password remains valid after which the user is prompted to enter a new password for their company.

If password aging is specified at more than one level, such as the user level and the company level, the shortest time period takes precedence. For example, if password aging is specified for a user at 30 days and for the user's company at 90 days, the user's password expires at 30 days.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Companies.

    The Companies page appears.

  2. Click the company.

    The company properties page appears.

  3. On the Overview tab, in the General section, beside Password ages in, click Edit.

  4. Enter the number of days that you want passwords to expire after.

  5. Click Save.
