The License Server Usage Summary Report displays the current license usage for all CommServe computers in a multi-CommCell environment that has a licensing server. Current license usage is the current amount of data that is protected or the current number of entities—such as users, devices, or VMs—protected at any given time.
This report includes each type of license, the number of purchased licenses, the number of used licenses, and the percentage of licenses consumed. You can use this report to track license requirements and usage for all CommCell environments in your organization.
When there is a Licensing Server configured in a CommCell environment, no job details appear in the License Server Usage report. To see job details, in the CommCell Console for each individual CommServe server, run the Classic License Summary report. For instructions, see Viewing the License Summary Report.
Where to Access the Report
The License Summary Report is available by default with Commvault software, and you can view it in the Command Center on the licensing server.
