Combined Storage Class Support for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage
The Infrequent Access tier and the Combined Storage tier are supported for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Object Storage. Infrequent Access is the default storage type because it provides an optimized cost/performance ratio for data management patterns. Combined Storage drives a simplified approach for storing frequently accessed data, such as job indexing into a warm tier, while actual backup data is stored in a cold tier, providing further cost savings.
