Use this dialog box to add cartridges to a virtual tape library (VTL).
VTL Name
Displays the name of the VTL library to which the cartridges are added.
VCartridge Type
Displays the name of the cartridge type that will be added.
Storage Pool
Choose the storage pool to which the cartridges must be associated.
Number of Cartridges
Type the total number of cartridges that must be added.
WORM
Select WORM, if WORM (Write-Once-Read-Many) property needs to be enabled for the cartridges.
VCatridge Label/Prefix
Type a custom prefix for the cartridge labels. (Alphabets a-z, A-Z and numbers 0-9 are accepted for a label/prefix.)

If the number of cartridges is greater than one, then the label will be of the following format:
LTO000
For example, if the number of cartridges is 2, then the labels for the newly created cartridges will be LTO000L6 and LTO001L6. If WORM is selected, then the labels for the newly created cartridges for our example will be LTO000LU and LTO0001LU.

If the number of cartridges is one, then the label can be a maximum of 32 characters.

Alphabets a-z, A-Z and numbers 0-9 are accepted as label/prefix.
For example, if the number of cartridges is 4, then the labels for the newly created cartridges will be LTO000L6, LTO001L6, LTO002L6 and LTO003L6. If WORM is selected, then the labels for the newly created cartridges for our example will be LTO000LU, LTO0001LU, LTO002L6U, and LTO003L6U.
