Jobs in Storage Policy Advanced Filter Options

Use this dialog box to establish additional filtering options to be included in the Jobs for Storage Policy Copy window.

Filter by Content Index Status

The following options are available for storage policies.

  • Show jobs that are content indexed

    Select option to display jobs that are content indexed.

  • Show jobs that will be content indexed

    Select option to display jobs that will be content indexed in the future.

  • Show jobs that are not content indexed

    Select option to display jobs that are not content indexed.

Filter by Data Status

The following filter options are available for secondary storage policy copies.

  • Available

    Select option to display all available jobs.

  • Jobs that need to be copied

    Select option to display jobs that need to be copied.

    • All

      Select this option to display all the jobs that needs to be copied.

    • Critical (Very old jobs)

      Select this option to display the jobs that are not copied for a long time. By default, jobs that are not copied since 90 days are considered as critical.

    • Major (Old jobs)

      Select this option to display old jobs that are not copied. By default, jobs that are not copied between last 30 – 90 days are considered as major.

    • Minor (Recent jobs)

      Select this option to display the jobs that are not copied recently. By default, jobs not copied between last 7 – 30 days are recent and considered as minor.

  • Jobs that will not be copied

    Select option to display jobs that are not selected to be copied.

Aged Data

  • Exclude Aged Jobs

    Select option to not display aged jobs.

  • Include Aged Jobs

    Select option to display aged jobs.

  • Show only Aged Jobs

    Select option to display only aged jobs. Jobs that have not been aged will not be included.

  • Jobs that are Retained by Extended Retention Only

    Select option to display only those jobs associated with storage policy copies defined with extended retention rules.

Note

After the software deletes aged jobs, they are not available to view at the storage policy copy level. However, the aged jobs are still available to view from client level or subclient level until the job histories are pruned.
