Retain CommServe Server as a Non-Clustered Instance

When an existing non-cluster environment is converted into a Microsoft Failover Cluster environment, you must configure the bInstallAsNonCluster additional setting to ensure that the CommServe server remains excluded from the cluster setup. Set the bInstallAsNonCluster additional setting to 1, before restarting the Commvault Communications service (CVd).

Procedure

• To the CommServer computer, add the bInstallAsNonCluster additional setting as shown in the following table.
