Add a File Server for GlusterFS

Add a server to be the access node for GlusterFS. You can add multiple access nodes.

Before You Begin

To add the server, you need the following information:

• Host name

• User name and password

• OS type

  Supported only on Linux servers.

Procedure

1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Servers.

   The Servers page appears.

2. In the upper-right area of the page, click Add server.

   The Add server dialog box appears.

3. In the Host name box, type the host name.

4. In the User name and Password boxes, type the credentials for the server.

5. Next to OS Type, select the operating system that is installed on the server.

6. From the Select packages list, click File system, and then click OK.

   Some packages require additional information. For example, if you select DB2, you must enter a DB2 log path.

7. Optional: In the Installation location box, enter the installation location path.

8. To reboot the servers in the server group after the installation, move the Reboot if required toggle key to the right.

9. Click Install.
