You can choose how to receive the alert notifications from the available alert targets. You need to set up some alert target types before they can be used to send alerts from the Command Center and the Web Console.
An alert notification is generated when the criterion for the alert is satisfied, for example, an alert notification can be generated when the properties of a client are modified. For a list of alert criteria, see Predefined Alert Criteria.
