You can perform a full, incremental, or a synthetic full backup of the Azure NetApp Files CIFS Shares.

The default subclient backs up all the interfaces and associated volumes of Azure NetApp Files within an Azure subscription.

To backup specific contents, create a new subclient. For more information, see Creating a Subclient for CIFS Shares of Azure NetApp Files.
Procedure

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.
The File servers page appears.

Click the file server.
The file server page appears.

Under Protocols, click CIFS.
The CIFS page appears.

Under Subclients, in the row for the subclient that you want to back up, click the action button
, and then click Backup.The Backup dialog box appears.

In the Backup options section, select the backup type.

Click Submit.
