Creating a Downloadable Commvault Package for the Download Center

You can create a custom installation package for the Commvault software using the Download Manager. After you create a package, add the package to the Download Center.

Before You Begin

• Install the Web Console

• Install the Web Server

Procedure

1. Create a Commvault installation package using the Download Manager.

   For instructions, see the following topics:

   • Downloading Software for Windows Computers Using the Download Manager

   • Downloading Software for UNIX, Linux, and Macintosh Computers Using the Download Manager

2. Copy the Commvault installation package to a Download Center repository.

3. Open the Download Center as an administrator, and then add the custom Commvault installation package to the Download Center.

   When you add the package, add the users that you want to share the package with in the Visible to box.
