Current Workload in the License Summary Worldwide Report

The Current Workload view of the License Summary Worldwide report includes usage for each workload configured in the CommCell environment, regardless of the licenses applied on the CommServe computer.

Workload usage information appears in this report only for CommServe computers installed with Commvault version 11.32 (Platform Release 2023E) and later versions.

Viewing the Current Workload Usage

You can view the Current Workload Usage in the License Summary Worldwide Report on the Web Console for the Private Metrics Reporting Server.

  1. Log on to the Web Console for the Private Metrics Reporting Server.

  2. Click Reports.

    The Reports page appears.

  3. From the navigation pane, click CommCells, and then under CommCell Name, click a CommServe server.

    The CommCell Dashboard appears.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click Current Capacity Usage.

    The License Summary - Worldwide Report appears.

  5. At the top of the page, click Current workload usage.

    The Current Workload view of the License Summary Worldwide report appears.

Workload Usage by Capacity Table

The Workload Usage by Capacity table displays each workload that consumes capacity, the number of client computers that consume capacity for that workload, and the amount of data used.

Column

Description

Workload ID

A unique ID for the workload.

Workload

The type of data that's backed up. For example, workloads include products such as SQL Server, VMware vCenter, and Windows Server.

Number of Clients

The number of client computers where the workload license is being consumed.

Used

The amount of capacity currently used

Number of Complete (Backup + Archive) Clients

The number of client computers that consume capacity for the Complete (backup and archive) license.

Complete (Backup + Archive) Used

The amount of capacity currently used for the Complete (backup and archive) license.

Number of Snapshot Clients

The number of client computers configured to run snapshot backups.

Snapshot Used

The amount of capacity used for snapshot backups.

Number of Replication Clients

The number of client computers configured for replication operations.

Replication Used

The amount of capacity used for replication operations.

Workload Usage by Users Table

The Workload Usage by Users table displays each workload that consumes a per-user license and the number of users that are currently used.
