When you perform create or update operations in the Command Center, you can access the equivalent API in the form of a JSON request payload that you can use for REST API POST requests.
Note
Equivalent APIs are available only for create and update operations.
Example: Accessing the Equivalent API to Create a New File Server

From the navigation pane, go to Protect > File servers.
The File servers page appears.

Click Add server, and then select a file server type.
The Add server dialog box appears.

Click File server.
The Add file server dialog box appears.

Enter the necessary information.

Click Equivalent API.
The JSON request payload dialog box appears.

Download or copy the JSON payload.
