Enabling Automatic Discovery of Applications for a Company

You can enable the automatic discovery of applications for all servers in a company.


  1. Go to Manage > Companies.

    The Companies page appears.

  2. Under Name, click a company.

    The company page appears.

  3. In the General section, move the Auto discover applications toggle key to the right.


Every 24 hours, according to each server's individual Commvault service schedule, the software discovers the applications on each server and installs a Commvault software package for each application that is found.
