Enabling Block-Level Backups for MySQL Databases

You can enable block-level backup on a database group.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. Click an instance.

    The instance page appears.

  3. Under Database groups section, click the name of a database group.

    The database group page appears.

  4. Expand the General section, and then move the Use volume copy (Block level backup) toggle key to the right.

    Under the Snapshot management section, by default, IntelliSnap is enabled with native snap engine that you can change later.
