Enabling IntelliSnap Backups for MySQL Databases

You can enable IntelliSnap backup on a database group.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

    The Instances page appears.

  2. Click an instance.

    The instance page appears.

  3. Under Database groups section, click the name of a database group.

    The database group page appears.

  4. Under the Snapshot management section, move the Enable hardware snapshot toggle key to the right.

    The Snapshot management dialog box appears.

  5. From the Engines list, select a snapshot engine.

  6. From the Use access node for backup copy list, select an access node.

  7. Click Save.
