Unlocking a User Account

The administrator can manually unlock a user account. If a user fails to log on to the Commvault software within the logon limit, the user account is locked for the time period that is defined by the administrator.

Procedure

  1. From the navigation pane, go to Manage > Security.

    The Security page appears.

  2. Click the Users tile.

    The Users page appears.

  3. To see which user accounts are locked, in the upper-right area of the page, click the menu button choose_columns_icon, and then select Locked.

    The Locked column appears.

  4. In the row for the locked user, click the action button action_button, and then click Unlock.

    The Unlock account dialog box appears.

  5. Click Yes.
