Applies to: ContentStore Mailbox, and Journal Mailbox
Use this dialog box to create a new Exchange journal policy. Use the Advanced tab to define advanced options.
ContentStore Mailbox Subtab
Complete job
By default, the archiving phase of the job archives all the messages that have collected in the ContentStore Mailbox since the last time the job ran. You can limit how long it takes the archiving phase of the job to run. If there are more messages to be archived than the limits allow, the remaining messages are archived the next time the job runs.
If you set both options, the option that causes the job to complete sooner takes precedence.
-
After protecting number of messages per stream
When this check box is selected, you can specify the maximum number of messages per server that can be included in a job.
For example, if you configured 10 streams in the Subclient Properties (General) dialog box, and 10,000 messages per stream in this setting, the archive job completes when up to 100,000 have been archived.
-
After the job runs for period of time (hours) per stream
When this check box is selected, you can specify the maximum number of hours per server that an archive job can run before completion.
For example, if you specify two hours, the job completes when the archive job runs for up to two hours.
