You can delete a storage array from the CommCell database.
Note
Commvault recommends that you do not delete an array entry associated with the virtualization client even if there are no snapshots, to avoid possible failures with future V-Vol snap backups. Deleting and recreating such an array entry does not re-establish association with the virtualization client.
Before You Begin
Delete all snapshots or clones associated to the array before deleting the array from the CommCell Console. To delete snapshots or clones, see Deleting Snapshots.
Procedure

On the ribbon in the CommCell Console, click the Storage tab, and then click Array Management.

In the Array Management dialog box, select an array.

Click Delete.

Click OK to delete the array.
