Effect of Deprecation
From 11.20, the Retain snapshot after a backup operation option is no longer available for new or existing VM groups in the Command Center, and the Retain snapshot after backup option is no longer available for new or existing subclients in the CommCell Console.
Replacement
To improve the performance of backup operations for Amazon hypervisors, you can enable changed block tracking (CBT) for Amazon subclients (VM groups).
