Manage Pairs

Use this tab to define the replication pair properties.

Note that all the options described in this help may not be available and only the options displayed in the dialog box are applicable to the agent for which the information is being displayed.

Replication Set Details

  • Source Host

    The name of the machine from which data is being replicated.

  • Destination Host

    The name of the machine to which data is being replicated.

  • Common Base Folder

    Specify a folder on the destination machine to cause all destination directories for all Replication Pairs that comprise this Replication Set, to be created in a common directory on the destination machine. Type a path or click Browse to select a folder.

Add/Update Pairs

  • Source Path

    The source path specified for the Replication Pair.

  • Destination Path

    The destination path specified for the Replication Pair.

  • State

    Current state of the Replication Pair.

  • Apps

    Applications whose data is being replicated.

  • Add

    Click to add a new Replication Pair.

  • Browse

    Click to add multiple Replication Pairs at once.

  • Edit

    Click after selecting a Replication Pair from the list, to edit its properties.

  • Delete

    Click after selecting a Replication Pair from the list, to delete it.

  • Add App

    Click to add a Replication Pair for an application.

  • Automatically detect mount points (Applicable for Windows clients)

    Specifies that additional Replication Pairs are to be created for mount points that are part of the selected source volume or directory. Mount points will be ignored if this option is not selected.

  • Engage all VSS Writers

    Specifies that all VSS writers in the system are to be engaged for the write operation.

  • Include files that do not match with destination copy

    Select this option to replicate the new, modified, or missing files to the destination computer.

  • Apply

    Click to apply the changes you have made.

  • Reset

    Click to discard the changes you have made.
