Use the following parameters to establish the chunk size that must be used to write data for each Agent.
Agent Type
Lists the available Agents for which the chunk size can be established.
Chunk Size (MB)
A chunk is the unit of data that the MediaAgent software uses to store data on media. The default chunk size depends upon the type of backup data and the type of Media. See Performance Tuning for more information.
The data chunk size that will be used to write the appropriate agent's data on the media. (Applies only to tape media; for disk media the system by default uses 4 GB as the chunk size.) If necessary, click the integer in the column to change the chunk size.
