Use this tab to configure Replication Options for all Replication Pairs in this Replication Set/Replication Policy.
Note that all the options described in this help may not be available and only the options displayed in the dialog box are applicable to the agent for which the information is being displayed.
Compression ON
Select to compress all replicated data before it is sent across the network, and uncompress it on the destination machine.
Encrypt during data transfer
Select to encrypt all replicated data before it is sent across the network, and decrypt it on the destination machine.
Data Integrity Validation
Select to enable data integrity validation during data transfer.
Allow Recovery Points
Select this option to allow scheduling or on-demand creation of Recovery Points.
Auto-Mount snapshots after Recovery Point Creation
Select this option to automatically mount the snapshots that comprise the Recovery Point, after the Recovery Point is created.
Enter Mount Points
Click to open the Enter Mount Points dialog box.
Maximum number of Recovery Points
Specifies the maximum number of Recovery Points allowed before they are automatically deleted by the system in the order they were created, i.e., oldest first.
Select Snap Engine Type for Recovery Point Creation

For Windows, VSS is the default selection; ONTAP can be used if available on the destination computer where the Recovery Point will be created.

For UNIX, Snap Engine Type is automatically detected by the File System configured on the destination computer.
