Restore Options for All Selected Items (General)

Use this dialog box to run a restore operation of the selected backed up items.

Destination Client

Displays the name of the client computer where you want to restore your data. You can change the destination computer, by selecting from the list.

Change the destination client only for an out-of-place restore. Only those computers that have the Cloud Apps installed are displayed.

To Google

For an in-place restore, select to restore a mailbox or a file to the same path on the same client from which the mailbox or the file was backed up.

For an out-of-place restore, select to restore a mailbox or a file to any folder in another mailbox.

  • Restore to Same folder

    Select this check box to perform an in-place restore operation. Selecting this check box restores data to the same location in the destination client from where it was backed up.

    Clear this check box while performing an out-of-place restore operation.

  • Specify destination path

    Click Browse to select a destination client that has the mailbox where you want to restore you data.

  • Unconditional Overwrite

    Select to unconditionally overwrite the existing files on the destination.

  • Skip

    Select to not overwrite the existing files on the destination.

To Disk

For an out-of-place restore, select to restore a mailbox or a file to a physical disk attached to a Cloud Apps-installed client

  • Specify destination path

    Click Browse to select a folder in the physical disk attached to the destination client that you selected.

Advanced

Click to select the advance restore options.

Save As Script

Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.

When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding XML parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters.

Click to open the Save As Script dialog, which allows you to save this operation and the selected options as a script file (in XML format). The script can later be executed from the Command Line Interface using qoperation execute command.

When you save an operation as a script, each option in the dialog will have a corresponding XML parameter in the script file. When executing the script, you can modify the value for any of these XML parameters as per need.
