The following subclient properties tabs are applicable to SharePoint Storage Manager subclients.
Subclient Properties (Content Database Options)
SQL client to protect Content Databases
You can select the following types clients from this box:

The SQL client that protects the SharePoint content database that is backed up by the subclient.

The SQL availability group client, if the SharePoint content database is hosted on a SQL availability group.

The Windows cluster client, if the SharePoint content database is hosted on a SQL failover cluster.
Number of Streams for Content Database Backup
The number of device streams used when backing up the content database.
VDI Timeout
The number of seconds before the SQL Server Virtual Device Interface (VDI) will timeout.
Subclient Properties (RBS Store Options)
RBS Store Client
The client where the BLOB data is stored. This setting must match the client for the Remote BLOB Storage location.
Enable Archiving on File BLOB Storage
Enables archiving of the BLOB data that was moved from the content database with SharePoint RBS.
General
Defines the general archiving rules for the BLOB data.
Modified Time Older Than <n> Days
Defines archiving rules based on the last modified date of the BLOB data.
Created Time Newer Than <n> Days
Defines archiving rules based on the date when the BLOB data was created.
Size Greater than <n> KB
Defines archiving rules based on the size of the BLOB data.
Versions Older Than the Last <n> Versions
Defines archiving rules based on the backup version of the BLOB data.
User
Set the options on this tab to define the archiving rules for BLOB data based on owner information.
Archive Documents Whose Owner is Listed Below
Defines archiving rules based on the owner of the BLOB data.
Archive Document Whose Owner Belongs to One of the User Groups Listed Below
Defines archiving rules based on user groups assigned to the BLOB data.
Type or Pattern
Set the options on this tab to define archiving rules for the BLOB data based on the type of file or file name of the BLOB data.
Archive Documents Whose Type is Listed Below
Defines archiving rules based on patterns in the file type contained in the BLOB data.
Subclient Properties (Retention)
Use the Retention tab to prune data from archive during synthetic full backup.
After n days
Number of days for which you want to retain data marked for deletion in the archive.
Never
Deleted items are retained indefinitely, by default.
