Adding a DB2 Database

You can manually add a DB2 database to an instance.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Databases.

   The database Overview tab appears.

2. On the Instance tab, click the instance.

   The instance Overview page appears.

3. On the Databases tab, click Add database.

   The Add DB2 database dialog box appears.

4. In the Database name box, enter a name for the database.

5. From the Plan list, select the backup plan to use for the database.

6. Click Save.
