Back Up Lustre Data

You can back up a Lustre subclient on demand.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Files.

   The Overview page appears.

2. Go to the Files tab and click the file server.

   The file server page appears.

3. On the Subclients tab, in the row for the subclient, click the action button , and then select Backup.

   The Backup dialog box appears.

4. For Backup options, select the backup type.

5. To receive an Email when the backup operation completes, select the When the job completes, notify me via email check box.

6. Click Submit.
