You can use a Service catalog to configure database backups for Azure Postgresql databases using the Commvault Cloud infrastructure (also called Direct to Cloud). Direct to Cloud method uses the Commvault Cloud infrastructure, so you do not need to configure your own backup gateways.
Important
-
Commvault Cloud Infrastructure backups for Azure databases are supported only for certain regions. If you do not see your region when configuring backups for your Azure Paas database, contact your Commvault support manager (CSM).
-
The Commvault Cloud software supports Azure for public clouds only. Sovereign clouds, such as in Germany or China, are not supported. For more information, go to Azure Regions Decision Guide on the Microsoft documentation website.
