For IntelliSnap backups from Commvault software, add the VAST Data Platform storage array and its configuration information to the CommServe database.
Before You Begin
You will need the Management IP from the VAST Data Platform software.
You also need to create a user with the minimum role of mgmt-app.
Start the Configuration Wizard

From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Manage > Infrastructure.
The Infrastructure page appears.

Click Arrays.

On the Arrays page, click Add.
The General page of the Add Snap Array configuration wizard appears.

From the Snap vendor list, select VAST Data Platform.

In the Array name box, enter the Management IP.

In the Description box, enter the description for the array.

From the Saved credentials list, select the existing credentials or add new credentials you want to use.
Steps to add new credentials
To add credentials to the Credential Manager, click the plus button (+), and then specify the following in the Add Credential dialog box.

In the Credential name box, enter the name of the credential.

In the User account box, enter the name of the user account.

In the Password box, enter the password.

In the Description box, you can enter a description of the credentials.

Click Save.

Click Next.
The Array Access Nodes page of the configuration wizard appears.

From the Available MediaAgents list, select one or more access nodes and then click Ok.
- To select all the available MediaAgents as access nodes, click Select all.

To disable pruning, move the Pruning toggle button of the respective access node to the left.

To rearrange the selected access nodes, drag them upwards or downwards as required.

Click Next.
The Snap Configurations page of the configuration wizard appears.

In the Array Host Aliases, enter the service host IPs which can be used to access CIFS/NFS, and then click Add.

In the Custom view policy name for mount operations, specify the custom view policy name, if any.

Click Submit.
