You can retain daily backups of the Commvault Cloud control plane database for an additional 3 days, to stop the backups from aging and to ensure that the backup sets are available for a disaster or similar situation.
Not required for Commvault SaaS.

Log on to cloud.commvault.com.

In the upper-right area of the page, select your CommCell environment.

In the Control plane section, click Start recovery test.

On the Protection details tab, click Declare disaster.
A confirmation message appears.

Click Submit.
