Filtering Cloud Storage Data from Object Storage Backups

To exclude the cloud library paths from backup operations, you can create a filter.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Object storage.

   The Object storage page appears.

2. In the Name column, click the object storage repository.

   The object storage repository page appears.

3. Click the content group that you want to create filters for.

   The content group properties page appears.

4. In the Content section, click Edit content.

   The Add/Edit content dialog box appears.

5. On the Exclusions tab, in the Enter custom path box, enter /**/CV_MAGNETIC/***, and then click the add button.

6. Click OK.
