Getting Started with Salesforce

Review what is supported and what is required for Salesforce, and complete the necessary setup in Salesforce and in Commvault.

Procedure

  1. Review support for Salesforce.

  2. Complete the necessary setup in Salesforce.

    In Salesforce, verify that you have the required access and if needed, create a connected app to integrate with Salesforce.

  3. If you configure IP address ranges in Salesforce, see Network Connectivity.

    After you receive the Commvault IP addresses, add them to the "Login IP Ranges" area in Salesforce.

  4. Complete the necessary setup in Commvault.

    In the Commvault software, complete the service catalog and then perform a test backup and restore.
