You can integrate the Commvault MSP Portal with HaloPSA software.

To perform this integration, you must have admin permissions for a HaloPSA account.

You must perform this integration on the identity ring (https://m301.metallic.io) and not on child rings.
Before You Begin
Perform the following steps:

Log in to the HaloPSA client.

Create a HaloPSA API app. When creating the app, for Authentication Method, select Client ID and secret.

Save the client ID and the client secret that are automatically generated when creating the app.

Procedure

From the Commvault MSP Portal, at the top of the page, click Manage All Accounts.
The Command Center appears.

Click Manage > System.
The System page appears.

Click the HaloPSA Integration tile.
The HaloPSA Integration page appears.

On the Configuration tab, in the General section, click the edit button
.The Edit dialog box appears.

Enter the HaloPSA URL.

To create a new credential, do the following:

Next to Credential, click the Create New button
.The Add credential dialog box appears.

Enter the following information:

Account type: This field is pre-populated with PSA Account.

Vendor type: This field is pre-populated with Halo Account.

Credential Vault: Select Built-In.

Credential name: Enter a name for the new credential.

Client ID: Enter the HaloPSA client ID that was generated when you created the HaloPSA API app (see Step 2 in "Before You Begin", above).

Client secret: Enter the HaloPSA client secret that was generated when you created the HaloPSA API app.

Click Save.
