The HyperScale X software provides a comprehensive monitoring solution that enables you to quickly identify and resolve any underlying issues with the hardware or platform configuration on the HyperScale X nodes before it impacts business operations.
You can monitor the HyperScale X nodes using the following methods:

You can monitor the hardware components, such as the disk drive, power supply, fan, and network interfaces on the nodes and notify users of any potential or active issues. For more informations, see Monitoring the Hardware.

The software also monitors the HyperScale X platform health, such distributed storage services and other configurations on the node and alerts when the services are down or if the configuration needs user attention. For more information, see Monitoring the Commvault HyperScale X Platform.

The software monitors the storage utlization of HyperScale X nodes and sends alerts to the administrators at various stages of storage utilization with appropriate recommendations. For more information, see Monitoring the Storage Utilization for HyperScale X Commvault HyperScale X Nodes.
Note
The software sends tenant-specific email alerts only to the tenant administrators of the company that owns the storage pool for any HyperScale hardware or platform alerts. Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) users receive both email and console alerts.
