Perform a Test Backup and Restore of the SharePoint Online Sites

To confirm that the SharePoint Online app and sites are set up correctly, perform a test backup and restore.

Back Up the Sites

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.

   The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

2. On the Apps tab, in the row for the app, click the Action button , and then click Back up.

   The Select backup level dialog box appears.

3. Click OK.

Restore the Sites

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.

   The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

2. On the Apps tab, in the row for the app, click the Action button , and then click Restore.

   The Backup content page appears.

3. Select all the sites, and then click Restore.

   The Restore options dialog box appears, with options for restoring to the original location already selected.

4. Click Restore.
