Restoring an Entire Exchange Online Mailbox to a Folder

You can restore an entire mailbox to a different folder. The selected content will be restored to a newly created folder called Recovered Items - YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM UTC time.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Microsoft 365.

   The Microsoft 365 Overview page appears.

2. On the Apps tab, click the app.

   The Overview page of the app appears.

3. On the Mailboxes tab, select the mailbox and then at the right area of the page, click Restore > Restore mailbox.

   The Restore Options tool appears.

4. On the Date and Time tab, specify the Recovery point date and time and click Next.

   The Destination tab appears.

5. Select Restore to a new folder, and then click Next.

   The Review tab appears.

6. Review the items you selected for restore, and then click Next to start the restore operation.

   The Summary tab appears.

7. Click Close.
