Sharing Disk Access Paths

You can share an existing disk access path between multiple backup gateways. After a disk access path is shared, all the other available access paths in the storage are automatically shared with the newly added backup gateway.

Procedure

1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Storage > Disk.

   The Disk page appears.

2. Click the disk storage that you want to share the disk access path.

   The disk storage page appears.

3. In the Backup locations section, click the backup location that you want to share with multiple backup gateways.

   The Backup locations page appears.

4. On the Disk access paths bar, in the right corner, click Add MediaAgent.

   The Add MediaAgent dialog box appears.

5. Select all the backup gateways that you want to share the disk access path with and click Save.
