Space reclamation is supported for Air Gap Protect storage on Azure, AWS, OCI, and Google Cloud Storage when fragmentation exceeds 30%.

For Air Gap Protect on Azure, you can run a space reclamation job using either an on-premises Backup Gateway or a Backup Gateway deployed in the same cloud region.

For Air Gap Protect on AWS, OCI or Google Cloud Storage, the space reclamation job requires a Backup Gateway deployed in the cloud and located in the same region as the configured storage.
