Verify that your environment meets the requirements for protecting HPE Morpheus VM Essentials VMs with Commvault.
Access Nodes
You can install the access node package when you configure backups for your HPE Morpheus VM Essentials instances.

Install the access node package on the physical node of the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials cluster. You can install the access node package on other nodes to improve performance.

The HPE Morpheus VM Essentials physical node must have the following:

At least 100 GB free disk space

At least 4 GB RAM, excluding the operating system and running applications

If the HPE Morpheus VM Essentials instances are hosted on local storage, then the access node package must be installed on all the nodes of the cluster.
Linux Instances
Guest tools must be installed on Linux instances.
Known Issues
HPE Alletra is supported when mounted via NFS or GFS2. Passthrough configurations are not supported. Backups of VMs hosted on this storage fail.
