Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an extra level of security to the Commvault MSP Portal login requirements that requires users to provide two different authentication factors to verify their identity.
For Commvault MSP Portal, two-factor authentication is automatically enabled. A user must provide a 6-digit personal identification number along with their password to log on to the Commvault MSP Portal. Upon their first login, each user must set up a secret key that is required to configure PIN-generating tools such as the Microsoft Authenticator app. You can also configure a roaming or platform authenticator.
