Updating Active Directory Credentials

You can update the credentials used to access the Active Directory server.

Procedure

  1. From the Command Center navigation pane, go to Protect > Active Directory.

    The Active Directory page appears.

  2. In the Name column, click the Active Directory server.

    The Active Directory properties page appears.

  3. On the Configuration tab, in the Active Directory connection settings section, next to User account, click the action button action_button.

    The Edit service account dialog box appears.

  4. From the Service account list, select existing service account credential or add new.

    Steps to add new credentials
    1. Click + beside the Service account list.

      The Add credential dialog box appears.

    2. Enter the following information:

      • In the Credential name box, enter the name of the credential.

      • In the User account box, enter the name of the user account.

      • In the Password box, enter the password.

      • In the Email box, enter the email address.

      • In the Description box, enter the description of the credential.

    3. Click Save.

  5. Click Update.
