Adding the Nutanix File Server in Array Management

To configure Nutanix Files backups, you must add the Nutanix storage array in Array Management.

Procedure

1. From the CommCell Console ribbon, on the Storage tab, click Array Management.

   The Array Management dialog box appears.

2. Click Add.

   The Filer Properties dialog box appears.

3. On the General tab, complete the following steps:

   1. From the Snap Vendor list, select Nutanix.

   2. In the Name box, enter the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) for the file server.

      Note

      • Do not enter the IP address of the file server.

      • Do not enter the Nutanix cluster name.

      • The array name is case-sensitive.

   3. Under Credentials, click Change, enter the REST API credentials for a local Nutanix cluster user, and then click OK.

   4. Optional: In the Description text box, enter a description of the file server.

4. Click OK.
