Allowing Remote Access to Cloud Clients

If you have clients in the cloud, you can use the Commvault VPN service to access the cloud clients without the need to open external ports.

Procedure

1. Configure the VPN router on one of the cloud clients.

2. Configure the VPN client settings on the client that will establish connections with the cloud clients.

   For more information, see Preconfigure VPN Clients.

3. Install the VPN Access software on the VPN client.

   For more information, see VPN Client: Installing the VPN Access Software.

4. Log on to the VPN service on the VPN client.

   For more information, see VPN Client: Logging On to the VPN Service.

Result

You can now initiate remote desktop connections from the VPN client to the clients in the cloud.
